Where the Cabo Locals Eat: El Pollo de Oro

We always appreciate input from our guests on their Cabo experiences so we can pass on recommendations for future guests. Our recent guest, Laleh, had a great lunch at El Pollo de Oro, saying “it was delicious and very reasonable. I highly recommend it!” Lonely Planet says of El Pollo de Oro: “Scrumptious grilled chicken and delicious oven-cooked pork ribs are only part of the story. The rest: great prices. A quarter roast chicken goes for around US$3, as do the huge breakfast plates of chilequiles (a traditional tortilla chip and chile-sauce dish) or huevos rancheros (ranch-style eggs).” Trip Advisor reviews concur with Laleh. Now I’m hungry … what’s for lunch?

The menu is described as Mexican home style cooking, and features char-broiled chicken, Marinated grilled flank steakpork ribs, arrachera, and more. Located on the corner of Morelos and 20 de Noviembre in downtown Cabo San Lucas.
