While the whales don’t go by our calendars, they’re pretty darn timely! Every year, Cabo marks the calendar for December 15. That is the date that Cabo whale watching officially begins. The tours kick off, tourists join in and we all wait to see Blue, Gray and Humpback whales do there thing off the Pacific and Sea of Cortez sides of the Baja Peninsula. Once again, we are so excited for their return!
For those visiting in the next few months, we truly believe that Cabo whale watching tours around the Los Cabos peninsula are a must. Get up close and personal with these massive aquatic creatures and become acquainted with the beautiful scenery just a short distance off the peninsula’s shores. Whale watching excursions run from an hour to a three-hour adventure, and will tour some of the most popular Cabo San Lucas sights including Land’s End, the Arch, Neptune’s Finger, Lover’s Beach, Divorce Beach, the Pacific Ocean coastline and more. In addition to whale sightings, Cabo whale watching tours often encounter sea turtles, dolphins, mantas, sea lions and more.
Photographers, don’t forget your cameras. There are so many great photo opportunities at every turn. And these are definitely not the vacation memories you want to forget! Don’t miss one tail slap, breach, or head rise with a Cabo Whale Watching tour. Tours are a fantastic, engaging activity for all ages.
