FALL in Love

It’s almost October, it’s officially fall and it’s a beautiful time to be in Cabo San Lucas with that special someone. In honor of the fall season and falling in love in Cabo, we’ve selected our top 5 most romantic spots in and around our favorite town! We’ve tried to include a little bit of everything for everyone!

Okay, we couldn’t help ourselves. How can we discuss romance and love without mentioning Lover’s Beach … it’s in the name for goodness sake! Accessible by an inexpensive water taxi, Lover’s Beach is a small yet stunning stretch of sand at the VERY tip of Land’s End. You’re literally at the end of Land’s End. On those good days, the waters off Lover’s Beach are quite calm and great for snorkeling. Don’t expect much shade though, nay, any shade. So be sure to pack sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen. There are also no facilities out there, so be forewarned. And, as always, remember that Lover’s Beach is swimmable; Divorce Beach on the Pacific Ocean side is not. Please be safe!

Foodies, we promise you don’t want to miss this little oasis in the Los Cabos desert. Located at the east edge of San Jose del Cabo, Flora Farms continues to grow in notoriety—and for good reason. Sourcing much of their ingredients from their own farm, Flora Farms features a lovely restaurant and lively bar surrounded by sunflowers, ponds, vegetable gardens and so much more. They have filled their menus with tasty dishes and drinks including lemon ricotta pancakes for brunch and hay cooked rabbit for dinner. Just try and tell us that the Farm Julep with watermelon water, basil, mint and light Bacardi Rum doesn’t sound amazingly refreshing! And, just in case you needed a little more proof, Flora Farms was the site of Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s Mexico nuptials!

There is something inherently romantic about sailing on the high seas…or at least the Sea of Cortez. Cabo sunset cruises are an ever-popular activity for good reason. With the range of style options, there is a cruise for every type of couple. Party, dine or sip on wine…whatever you’re romance style there is a cruise available here in Cabo. As we’ve shared in the past, we love to cruise around the Sea of Cortez, out past Land’s End and the Arch (getting the obligatory Arch photo, of course) as the sky turns from blue, to pink, to purple and finally black.

We couldn’t create a romantic list without sharing one of our favorites and hands down one of the most popular, romantic spots in Los Cabos. Enjoy an amazing glass of Champagne as you watch the sun dip below Pacific. An unforgettable moment vacation moment, you won’t regret a trip out to the other side of the Baja Peninsula. The Champagne Terrace was carefully designed to fit right in with the natural beauty surrounding the restaurant. It’s casual, yet elegant at the same time. In case you’re planning to get down on one knee, pop the question and then pop a bottle of Champagne to celebrate!

We included Santa Maria on this beach because sometimes the most romantic thing is just getting away to a quiet beach with the one you love. Santa Maria might just be that place for you! Located just east of Cabo San Lucas, along the Tourist Corridor, Santa Maria is a quiet and calm beach perfect for lazy days and snorkeling. We love this spot because it rarely gets crowded, and features shade palapas and restrooms. Pack a picnic and spend the day at this beautiful Blue Flag Beach!
