There are a lot of reasons we think staying in a Cabo villa beats staying in a hotel. One of the most popular reasons: a full kitchen! We know we aren’t alone in loving the fact that you can cook and entertain in your own space. While we definitely recommend trying a few Cabo restaurants and bars during your trip, it’s nice to have the option to cook for yourself. (It’s also friendly on the wallet.)
Picking up cooking supplies at the super mercado is great and convenient, but we think a trip to the Cabo Organic Farmer’s Market is also a must. Open year round, the Cabo Organic Farmer’s Market is the perfect place to pick up local fruits, seasonal veggies, fresh seafood, and organic meats and poultry. Can you think of a better way to really get a taste of the local cuisine? And did we mention that they even have gluten-free baked goods?!?
The market runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. We suggest making a morning of it and grabbing breakfast at Penny Lane Cafe in Pedregal. They use goods from the market to create their “farm-to-table” dishes. Dine inside or get some fresh air on their patio.
