Alright! We’ve officially moved past Tropical Storm Blanca. The water is calm (it was greener than usual, temperature and current off) and we’re excited to report that it was a great fishing week for anglers!
Our friends at the Cabo San Lucas Pisces Sportfishing office reported that there were steady marlin sightings with an increase in sailfish. There were a total of 99 sailfish caught this week by the Pisces team, and that’s nothing to scoff at.
According to the Pisces Fishing Report, “This week was a virtual bonanza with wahoo, tuna, dorado, sharks, jack crevalle, triggerfish, bonita, roosterfish, needlefish, grouper, snapper and amberjack caught.  What anglers were most excited about were the tuna, with some huge fish being caught well over 100 lbs., whilst others caught school size fish in the 15 to 25 lb. class.”
We love to hear about visitors (and locals, alike) having great experiences on the seas surrounding Los Cabos. And, what a great time for the great fishing. The Cabo Stars and Stripes Fishing Tournament is coming up June 25 – 28. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that the great fishing conditions continue!
