According to the team at Pisces Sportfishing in Cabo San Lucas, anglers experienced a little bit of everything for the week of March 7 – 13. Some days “every boat had a marlin then the next they caught nothing as the fish moved around and refused to be tempted by the bait offered.” Many of our boats caught and released a couple of Marlin, but many only had the change to reel in one. Dorado, on the other hand, have been consistent for our anglers and guests. Over half the Pisces boats caught 1 to 7 dorados in the 10 to 20 pound class.

In addition to the dorado and marlin, the Pisces boats were pulling in black and white skipjack, yellowtail, sierras and snappers.

Mostly Pacific off of Lighthouse, Migrino, Gaspareno, some days on the Cortez side, at Cabeza de Ballena and even as far as Destiladeras.

Weather Conditions:
Mostly clear skies, windy most days, average seas.

Average Water Temperature:
73 F

Best Lures:
Live bait, green colores, tigrillo.
